We are very proud to announce that after passing rigorous verification and control audits, we have obtained the ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001: 2015 and ISO 22000: 2005 Certifications granted by OCA CERT and accredited by ENAC.
The first certification, ISO 9001, is related to the way in which we direct our internal management, the standardization of our processes and the quality of our educational service; the second; that is, ISO 14001, is in relation to the way in which we organise and develop environmental management, both in reference to the maintenance of our infrastructure without causing impacts on the environment, as well as the execution of our educational processes and the third hallmark, food safety, obtained with the aim of managing the quality and safety of the food we offer in our own-managed Healthy Dining Room.
Obtaining these internationally recognised certificates has been a project in which all the processes that are part of the management of this School have been worked on, in all its levels and aspects.
In order to successfully achieve the objectives of these certifications, as well as the commitments to continuous improvement assumed in the Management Review process, we have had the full collaboration of the School Leadership team and the participation of all its staff; It has been an experience that has given us added value, through the detection of new forms of management and new opportunities for improvement, which we are carrying out among all of us who make up the CBS team.
To understand the concept and meaning of what it means to work with an Integrated Management System in the context of an Educational Center, we have to take into account a series of key principles, among which we highlight the following:
- Focus of our processes towards continuous improvement
- Continuous training as the basis for change among our staff
- Process-based approach
- Prevention as the basis of educational management, through risk analysis.
- Promotion of the culture of continuous improvement in our environment
- Periodic measurement of the satisfaction of needs and expectations; from our students and parents who trust us, as well as from stakeholders in our educational activity.
- Compliance with Legal, Regulatory, Clients and Interested Parties Requirements.
- Management and evaluation of human talent
- Promotion of internal and external communication and implementation of an effective information system.
This process has not ended with obtaining the certifications, it is an ongoing project; that is, the important thing in these certificates is not to obtain them, but to maintain them over time and that is the commitment that our School Leadership team has set: to maintain the level achieved and improve it at all levels in each periodic visit that OCA CERT will make annually.
We would like to indicate that displaying these three insignias represent great satisfaction and motivation after the effort that we have made at CBS this last year.
